What are the details of the painting?

The painting is an original by Maud Lewis: “Sandy Cove”, oil on beaverboard, dimensions 16" x 18" framed (artwork is 12” x 13 3/4”).

How do we know that the painting is authentic?

The painting has been authenticated by Ian Muncaster of Zwicker's Gallery in Halifax, a leading expert on Maud Lewis, and authentication and appraisal documentation has been provided.

I live outside Nova Scotia - is there any way I can purchase draw tickets?

Unfortunately, we are required to restrict ticket sales to Nova Scotia residents as a condition of our lottery licenses.

Can I get a tax receipt for my ticket purchases?

Draw ticket purchases are not considered tax-deductible donations under the terms of our lottery licenses, so unfortunately we can’t issue tax receipts for them.

If I win one of the early bird 50/50 draws, am I still eligible for the main 50/50 draw?

Yes! If you win the early bird draw, you are still eligible for the main 50/50 draw.

How many years has the Draw been in existence?

Scotia Festival of Music has been holding regular fundraiser raffle events since the beginning of its existence over 40 years ago!
